Fjällräven Visits Soldier
By Bobby Riley | May 10th, 2010
Fjällräven from Sweden visits Soldier in Harvard Square, Cambridge today. Fjällräven is an amazing brand with a solid heritage & outdoor story. You may be familiar with them for their recent and considered collaborations with J.Crew and/or NY boutique retailer Opening Ceremony over the last year. And probably most notably for their Kånken backpack, which has become an iconic classic revered by many for it’s pear-drop silhouette and buttery Japan crafted fabric selection. Great discussions filled the studio today regarding design collaborations, storytelling and the piquing of all 5 senses, through a host of diverse design propositions around the consumer experience–– On behalf of the Fjällräven brand for and towards their audience. From the waxed 60/40 Greenland jacket to their skills in tentmaking Fjällräven is a brand, story and product line worth paying attention to.
