CELTICS BUSINESS BY BARRY
By Bobby Riley | May 20th, 2010
Here is a motivational post by Boston native and Soldier’s Business Director Barry Dugan for today.
Here at Soldier we pay attention to competition and progress on many fronts. In areas of business, trending, interactive, retail, product, and overall brand innovation. Being in the heart of The Bay State, we thrive on being a high-energy, humble, and informed studio. As the Boston Celtics roll back into town up 2-0 on the Orlando Magic we felt it appropriate to acknowledge their efforts and planning. As much as the Celtics were written off months ago, they had a plan in place. They had focus, determination, and above all, they practiced. While critics were all but handing titles to LeBron and Dwight, the Celtics execution plan was all business. When it came time to play, who was better prepared? How well is your business and brand prepared? Would you rather be a high flying behemoth that falls short or a blue collar team player that sets up others for success. As for the team here at Soldier Design, we relate far more with the game planning of Doc and Rondo then Mike Brown, LeBron, Stan Van Gundy, and Vince Carter. How is your brand going to overcome odds and pressure in 2010? We leave you with some Celtics inspired creative we designed and executed for Concepts (That we still get monthly requests for) that clearly tells you where our loyalty is at when it comes to the NBA. We hope you all get to light a business and branding victory cigar in 2010!
