LIVE CURIO EXHIBITION ON NEWBURY STREET BOSTON
By Bobby Riley | October 7th, 2009

This is a continuation of a September 3rd post titled ‘Soldier’s Green Alliance’. Soldier partners with Boston’s own green-team Curio to create a brand story in sync with the creation of an innovative green, zero-energy house, built with a vision to empower and inspire people to live sustainably.
The Live Curio Exhibition is currently at the BAC’s McCormick Gallery on 320 Newbury St., Boston. The exhibition is free and open to the public. The Solar Decathlon competition, taking over the mall in D.C. is also just a day away. Visit the Solar-Village at the National Mall in D.C. in person or via time lapse cameras provided by OX Blue™ . Dan, myself and some heads from our interactive team will be going to D.C. next week to meet up with Curio for a series of events.

Soldier worked with Curio to communicate the accessible and affordable technologies at the exhibition (within academic constraints) in the areas of Systems, Indoor/Outdoor, Team & Process, Design Thinking, Post-Competition and Sponsors, where Soldier sits as Title Sponsor. The critical exception to accessible and affordable is in the realm of Special Technologies, which involved Soldier working with Curio and the brains at MIT and the Biomimicry Institute to develop an opinion-leading concept called ‘The Feedback System’ which as you can imagine is a critical part of any efficient organism, and something missing from today’s human/design/build relationship. Soldier worked to design the user interface monitoring system that provides a wide range of feedback, via ambient lighting and a web-based interface, both of which will be available to the public through the Live Curio site designed and developed by Soldier at www.livecurio.us.
